Get something original and local at Scratch

A unique and original Christmas gift, or something timeless to bring back home having celebrated The Gathering 2013 with family and friends?

Scratch Gallery is a pop-up showcase for writers, film makers and visual artists based in Offaly. The showcase will be located in the “shop window” of Tullamore library for the month of December, and members of the public can during that month browse and buy original work by local artists.

There will also be a performance aspect, with artists performing their work and conducting workshops live.

Some of the artists featured in Scratch Gallery will include Wayne Brennan, Hogan, Tae Lane, John Saunders, Jean O’Brien, Jock Nichol, Mairead Dunne and Rowena Keaveny, while the idea is supported by both chief librarian Mary Stuart and Offaly arts officer Sinead O’Reilly.
