Castlepalooza line-up announced
Dan Croll, Gilles Peterson, Gruff Rhys and We Cut Corners are four of the acts announced as part of the line-up for the ninth Castlepalooza music and arts festival, which is set to take place at Charleville Castle just outside Tullamore at the beginning of August.
In addition to a stellar line-up, this year’s festival will also include Homebeat, a new product aiming to champion Irish music and creativity, and SharkAShack, which will offer all night beats from Ireland’s top DJs.
Organisers have announced that the Eat My Shorts shortfilm showcase will return to the festival again this year, as will workshops involving all types of dance.

Castlepalooza has partnered this year with Vodafone, 2FM, Alex and Ani, Kopparberg, Erdinger, AerTV, Budvar, Aer Lingus, Shark and Metro Herald. The festival supports the Charleville Castle restoration project, with a portion of each ticket sold going towards the ongoing work being carried out on the historic landmark.
