Excitement filled the air when Midland Drama Schools director Lorraine Wynne received a phonecall from RTE's Late Late Christmas Toy Show to inform her that her students would be performing on the show this year.

Lorraine said this is a wonderful achievement for my students and our schools, it is indeed the pinecal of my career to date. The act performing is three of Lorraine Wynne's drama and singing students Jane O'Boyle from Kilcormac, Leah Buckley from Pullough and Avril Spain, also from Pullough, who came together earlier this year formed a girlband known as Elles Divas and trained by Lorraine to compete in many local talent competitions. To date the girls reached the final of Mullingar's Got Talent and, auditioned for RTE's Starsearch competition and are presently competing in Midlands Got Talent.

Elles Divas auditioned last Saturday week for the show after being chosen from thousands of children who applied to audition by forwarding their dvds and then called to perform for the production team of the show.

To be given this opportunity for the most watched show in Ireland is a absolute privilege and the girls intend on representing the Midlands in style.

You will see Elles Divas perform Friday, November 27. To enrol for new term contact midlanddramaschools@hotmail.com or 087 2924719.
