County Senior Scór finals held in Clara

EmailThe Offaly Senior County Scór final was held in Clara on Saturday last where a small crowd saw a great night's entertainment of singing dancing and storytelling. There were only six clubs taking part, but they gave the on looking crowd over three hours of high quality entertainment.
The winners were:
Figure Dancing: Killeigh; Solo Singing: Ballycumber; Instrumental Music: Killeigh; Storytelling: Clara; Ballad Group: Clara; Quiz: Tubber; Novelty Act: Tubber; Set Dancing: Killeigh
Killeigh won the Pauline Bracken Trophy for club of the year, incorporating both senior and junior Scňr. Congratulations to all who will represent Offaly in Leinster semi-final in Birr on Saturday next at 5pm. Thanks to Clara club for hosting the finals and for all the help back stage and for the refreshments which were very much appreciated. Thanks to the hard working Scňr committee, who are trying to keep the tradition of Scňr alive in Offaly. Thanks also to all who contributed to the raffle prises.
