Hophill vandalism under investigation

Comments (0) | Print | Email

Recent reports of anti-social behaviour and vandalism in a Tullamore housing estate continue to be investigated by gardaí in the town.

Local residents of Hophill have again experienced threatening behaviour and damage to property in recent weeks, after shots were fired at one particular house last month.

"The matter is under investigation and we're following a number of lines of enquiry," said a garda sergeant at Tullamore Garda Station. "The community gardaí are in contact with the Residents Association and locals and are always available to people and indeed to anyone in the town."

Gardaí are appealing for anybody with any information to contact the local garda station on 057 9327600.
