Missing Geashill man located

A 52-year-old man who went missing over a fortnight ago has been located alive and well.

William Valentine had been living in Geashill in recent years. He was last seen on the afternoon of Thursday, October 10 at the Cappincur roundabout in Tullamore.

Last Wednesday gardai made a public appeal looking for help locating Mr Valentine.

Speaking to the Offaly Independent today (Friday), a Garda spokesperson said Mr Valentine has been located in Tullamore and that gardai are satisfied he is 'safe and well'.
