Second man arrested in Edenderry murder probe

 

Gardai investigating the murder of 64-year-old Thomas "Toddy" Dooley at a house in Edenderry on February 16 last have arrested a second man.

The 19-year-old man was arrested this afternoon (Wednesday) in Edenderry and is detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Birr Garda Station. He can be detained for up to 24 hours.

The 19-year-old man arrested this morning remains in custody at Tullamore Garda Station.
