Locals urged to enter Dochas run

Anne Starling, Tom Moloney, Brendan Monaghan and Gerry Murray are pictured ahead of this weekend's charity fun run/walk for Dochas.

Dochas - Offaly Cancer Support Group will hold the eleventh annual four mile run/walk - that was in the past organised by Boston Scientific - in association with Tullamore Harriers this weekend.

The walk that will raise funds for Dochas is open to both serious and fun athletes and will begin at 11.30am on Sunday, May 4 at the Tullamore Harriers Club on the Charleville Road.

Dochas is this week calling on all families, clubs and groups to enter the event and run or walk in their club or group colours.

Entry to the event is €15 or by filling up a sponsorship card.

More information and sponsorship cards are available by contacting Dochas on 057 9328268.
