Killeigh's Molly set to donate 14

In just two days Molly Sheils from Killeigh will cut 14 inches of her lovely long hair and donate it to the Rapunzel Foundation, which works to improve the lives of those living with hair loss.

The big cut takes place on Sunday, May 25 at 1pm at the Killeigh schoolboys/girls soccer club annual fun day at the pond. Hairdresser Edel Daly of Mardel's hair salon is charged with carrying out the chop, after TV3 personality Brian Daly leads local children in a countdown.

Molly has also been raising funds for the Irish Cancer Society in the run-up to the hair cut. Anyone interested in a last minute donation can do so in Mardel's hair salon, in the shop in Ballinagar or online at http://www.mycharity.ie/event/molly_sheils_event/
