According to Met Eireann forecaster Joanna Donnelly some high pressure is on the way, bringing with it temperatures of up to 20 degrees Celsius from the middle of the week on.

Today will be warm, with temperatures of about 17 degrees expected along with sunny spells, scattered showers and a small risk of thunder.

Tomorrow is expected to be largely the same according to Ms Donnelly.

Wednesday will bring with it better weather again however, with temperatures of up to 20 degrees expected from then until the weekend. Forecasters can’t say yet whether the warm weather will continue into the weekend or not.
