Three arrested in Edenderry murder investigation

Gardai have arrested three men as part of their investigation into the murder of 64-year-old Thomas (Toddy) Dooley at a house in Edenderry on February 16 last.

A 23-year-old male is currently detained at Portlaoise garda station, while two 19-year-old males are being held at Tullamore garda station.

All three are detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

UPDATE: The three men arrested early yesterday (Tuesday) were released yesterday evening without charge. A file will now be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
