Sile Seoige to judge best dressed at Kilbeggan this weekend

Fashionistas are expected to be out in force at Kilbeggan Racecourse this Saturday, when Sile Seoige will be on hand to judge the Littlewoods Ireland best dressed lady.

Though Saturday will be Sile’s first visit to Kilbeggan Racecourse, she knows exactly what she’s looking for when it comes to style, and she has some tips for hopefuls too.

“I will be looking for someone who looks like they’re completely comfortable with their style choice and they’re having fun,” Sile explained ahead of the race day.

"My top tip is to pick a pair of shoes you can walk in,” she added. “It is a risky business to try out a new pair unless you’re used to wearing heels as there’s usually a lot of walking around involved at a day at the races.”

Of course it wouldn’t be Ireland without talk of the weather. Sile also recommended keeping on eye on the weather, and for ladies to “try and dress as appropriately as possible” for it.

As for her own wardrobe, Sile said she’s unsure what she’ll be wearing on the day yet.

“I have a couple of colourful structured dresses to choose from,” she explained. “I will also be bringing a jacket or a fabulous mac on the day. Even though the sun has been out in force recently, you really can never be too prepared with the Irish weather.”

The winner of the best dressed lady at Kilbeggan Racecourse this weekend will get a €1,500 shopping spree with Littlewoods Ireland, while nine finalists will each get a €100 voucher.
