All welcome to hullabaloo programme launch tomorrow

It’s Hullabaloo time again!

Now in its eighth year, there’s no escaping the madness of the children’s festival that stretches across three towns in Offaly.

The Hullabaloo programme will be launched at 12.15pm tomorrow (Thursday) in Birr Theatre and Arts Centre with Birr’s Special Olympic hero Conor Dwyer, and all are welcome.

This year’s Hullabaloo festival will take place from October 29 until November 1 and will include a performance by Tullamore Amateur Dramatic Society of Marina Carr’s play for children ‘A Giant Blue Hand’, as well as a ‘Moon and Sixpence’ puppet show, the Robin Williams’ film ‘Jumanji’ and lots of workshops in music, cartoons, graffiti, storytelling, dance and more.

The festival programme will be available to pick up locally in Birr, Clara and Edenderry from next week.

It will also be distributed to schools around the towns and will be available for download at www.offaly.ie/arts.
