A lucky lotto player has won €250,000 on a ticket bought in Moate at the weekend.

The winning lotto plus 2 ticket was purchased from the Topaz filling station on the Athlone Road in Moate, Co Westmeath on Saturday.

The lucky winner bought a €6 quick pick ticket. The numbers drawn were 9,10, 12, 17, 19 and 21. The bonus number was 18

A spokeswoman for the National Lottery said the winner has not yet come forward.
