Management buyout at carroll cuisine

Management at Carroll Cuisine are believed to be in discussions with the company’s owners, ARYZTA AG, about a management buyout (MBO).

The 150 employees at Carroll’s will continue to work at the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Tullamore which will remain as the operations and growth hub for the company.

It is understood Carroll Cuisine management has informed all employees, suppliers and customers of today’s development.

There will be no job losses as a result of this announcement and management are believed to have exciting growth plans for the established Carroll Cuisine brand and its Tullamore based operations.

The MBO is expected to see the company’s existing management team continue to run day to day operations together with the current staff in Tullamore, with a focus on further enhancing the brand’s position and on continuing new product innovation in related areas.

Carroll Cuisine is well known locally for its GAA sponsorship in Co Offaly, which the management team remain committed to for the future.

It's understand management buyout will be backed by Carlyle Cardinal Ireland (CCI), a private investment fund known to back Irish companies with significant growth potential.  

CCI works with the management teams to help them achieve their growth targets for the benefit of all stakeholders, including employees.  CCI is an investor in Lily O’Brien’s and GSLS. The fund is backed by the Irish Government through the Irish Strategic Investment Fund and Enterprise Ireland.
