Two injured in crash near Kilcormac

Two people have been hospitalised following a crash near Kilcormac this afternoon.

Gardai in Birr confirmed two males were injured in the single vehicle collision at Broughal at around 2pm.

They were rushed to the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore. The extent of their injuries remains unclear at present.

Gardai have closed a section of road at Broughal.
