Bord Gáis Energy offers free books for under fives

Bord Gáis Energy is calling on Offaly book lovers to share their love of reading with the little readers in their lives.

Now in its third year, the Bord Gáis Energy Little Readers campaign aims to inspire reading from an early age and this year the helpful energy company’s bookshelves are heaving with a fantastic 5,000 books for children all over Ireland to enjoy for free.

Mums, Dads, Grandparents, Aunties and Uncles are invited to pass on the fun they had with books to the next generation of readers. It’s quick and easy to register for a Little Readers book; simply sign up to the Bord Gáis Energy online Book Club at bordgaisenergybookclub.ie.

Bord Gáis Energy is a long-time supporter and promoter of books and reading. As part of this year’s campaign the company will also donate a book to charity partner Focus Ireland for every young child in emergency homeless accommodation across Ireland.

Little Readers books are available for all children under five whose parents/guardians are members of the Bord Gáis Energy Book Club. To register for the Book Club and apply for your free Little Readers book, simply visit bordgaisenergybookclub.ie. There is a maximum of two books per household.
