Jack L's Birr gig postponed due to illness

A concert by Jack L in Birr this weekend has been postponed for a month after the singer became ill. 

In a statement issued this afternoon, Birr Theatre and Arts Centre, which was to host the concert on Saturday night, said 'Jack has come down with a severe flu, like half the country!'

The gig has now been rescheduled for Saturday, February 4, and the singer is wished a speedy recovery.

The venue said tickets for Saturday will be honoured on the new date. 

'If the date does not suit you – please contact the box office on 057 9122911 to arrange a refund,' said the statement.

'Again, on behalf of Jack’s management, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience.'
