"We want to make everyone in the Midlands proud" - Chasing Abbey

Chasing Abbey's 'Bee' says the global publishing deal signed with 3BeatUK/Universal Music Group is a 'dream come true' for the band.

'It was one of our goals and we are truly delighted that this is happening. I just want to thank everyone for their support, from our fans to our families,' he told the Offaly Independent. 'We want to make everyone in the Midlands proud.'

'Over the last few months there's been a lot of over and back with different labels, and we really feel at home with 3BeatUK.'

The deal will see Chasing Abbey's stellar debut single, That Good Thing, released in the UK in the coming months, followed by the rest of Europe, and then hopefully the US, while a new single this side of the Atlantic is also guaranteed.

The next big date in the Tullamore trio's itinery is The Academy Green Room gig on Saturday September 23.

'We're planning on showcasing a lot of our new music that night, so people will get to see the true Chasing Abbey. We're looking forward to it.'

Ro, Bee and Teddy C formed in late 2016, bringing together a unique blend of pop, dance and hip-hop, having grown up together sharing a love of music together. Known for their explosive live shows,  That Good Thing shot to the top of the iTunes download chart within 24 hours of its release. Since then Chasing Abbey have  enjoyed unparalled radio success.
