Offaly film to be screened on national TV

A film starring Brendan Gleeson that's both funded by and set in Offaly is due to grace television screens over the festive season.
'Noreen' was funded by Film Offaly in partnership with Filmbase. It follows two policemen who get more than they bargained for on a house call in Athmuck, Co. Offaly. Direected by Domhnall Gleeson and starring Brendan Gleeson and Brian Gleeson, the film is a comedy that has won accolades including Best Short Film at last year's Galway Film Fleadh and Directors Choice at the Boston Irish Film Festival as well as an IFTA nomination.
'Noreen' is scheduled to be screened on RTÉ 2 on December 19 at 11.20pm.
