Birr Film Club presents Le Quattro Volte

The Birr Film Club film of choice to be presented at Birr Theatre and Arts Centre next Tuesday is the 2010 Italian movie Le Quattro Volte, directed by Michelangelo Frammartino.
Man, animal, vegetation, and dust are the four protagonists of stories cyclically linked in this remarkable picture.
The visual narrative, bereft of dialogue and straddling the line between drama and documentary, flows as smoothly as life in the Calabrian village where it takes place.
In his captivatingly poetic vision of incessant life cycles, Frammartino searches for a way to capture the essence hidden beneath the surface of creatures, things, and events of all kinds.
Starring Giuseppe Fuda, Bruno Timpano and Nazzareno Timpano, the curtains will rise on Le Quattro Volte at 8pm next Tuesday, November 22.
