Teen Aware line-up revealed

Hogan, Royseven, The Original Rudeboys and Voice of Ireland winner Pat Byrne are just a few of the names revealed as part of the Teen Aware line-up this week. Teen Aware will be held this year on Good Friday, March 29 at Kilbeggan Racecourse. Last year in excess of 1,500 teens flocked to the event on the grouns of Charleville Castle, and organisers are expecting numbers to double this year. The initiative that began as a suicide awareness event in 2011 has now expanded to act as a platform in addition for mental health, bullying and road safety groups.

The event's musical line-up was released this week and includes Fresh Re, Kayleigh Cullinane and Britain's Got Talent's Ryan O'Shaughnessy. The Voice of Ireland winner Pat Byrne will also be in attendance, as well as Hogan, Na Fianna, X Factor's District 3, Royseven and The Original Rudeboys.

Teen Aware tickets went on sale on February 11 through Supermac's outlets and participating schools. Parents and teens are encouraged to visit www.teenaware.ie to find out more.
