Offaly Intermediates secured their place in the All-Ireland Intermediate Final on 12th September in Croke Park when they overcame Derry in the semi-final last Saturday in Clones on a scoreline of 2-12 to Derry 1-13.

Offaly will now face Wexford in the All-Ireland Intermediate Final in September. These teams have met twice this year in the Championship and the League Final with Wexford victorious on both occasions. Offaly will be aware of the challenge that awaits them and will be focused on victory against Wexford at their third meeting. Well done to the girls and their management team of Joachim Kelly, Ger Fogarty and Bernie Nugent.

Offaly U16 B Leinster Final

Offaly U16s will play Laois in O'Moore Park next Sunday, 29 August, in the Leinster U16 B Final. Offaly overcame Wicklow in the Championship (5-23 to 1-0) to advance to the final but no doubt Laois will provide a much tougher opposition.

St. Cillian's added further scores with a point from Rachel Dolan, two points from Sarah Harding and a goal from Siofra Ryan. St. Cillian's led at half-time by 12 points.
