Barry Geraghty will be aiming to nowhere on his bike on Sunday!

Barry Geraghty's team have been installed as favourites to win the inaugural Jockey Olympics at Naas on Sunday in aid of GOAL Haiti appeal

Naas Racecourse in conjunction with Horse Racing Ireland will host the event in the parade ring in two sessions, after the second race and after the fourth race.

During the afternoon three teams of jockeys to be captained by Barry Geraghty, Paul Carberry and Ruby Walsh will compete in the Jockey's Olympics.

" I've always fancied myself as a bit of an Olympic athlete and these grueling challenges will certainly put me and my team of elite athletes to the test," commented Barry Geraghty.

"Paul Carberry and Ruby Walsh had better get their teams into training if they hope to have any chance," he added.

Navan man Hector OhEochagain will be the commentator and Gerry Loftus of Superstars fame will be the special guest referee.

The competition will incorporate four events - a slow bicycle race, an egg and spoons race, a three-legged race and the final event will be a football skills test when the teams will be required to kick a football through a tyre to score points.

GOAL will have a bucket collection on the day.
