Navan businessmen Eamonn Duignan (pictured) and Cathal McCarthy were in the winners' enclosure at Leopardstown today.

Tarkari, trained by Willie Mullins, won the two-mile handicap hurdle which produced a terrific finish.

Ruby Walsh sent Tarkari into the lead at the final flight and the 5/2 favourite stayed on gamely to record a length victory over Jigalo.

It is unlikely that Tarkari will go to Cheltenham although the County Hurdle is an option. Fairyhouse and Punchestown are also on the horizon for the Meath-owned horse.
