Following yesterday's inspection, Fairyhouse racecourse is looking better ahead of the Irish Grand National Festival.

Speaking to Des Cahill on RTE this morning, track manager Caroline Gray said that the course is raceable at the moment.

However, a close eye will be kept on the weather and provided there is not too much rain over the next two days everything should be okay for the first race on Sunday.

The Irish Grand National will take place on Monday.
