ALL-IRELAND "A" COLLEGES SEMI-FINAL

Well done St Mary"s Secondary School on their marvellous victory over St Coleman"s of Claremorris in the All-Ireland "A" Colleges semi final last Sunday at Pearse Park, Longford. On the panel from club were Stuart Cullen, Shane Forde, Philip Farrell, Stephen Guing, Mark Young, Derek Kelly, Peter O"Neill and James Mackey. St Mary"s will face Colaiste na Sceilge from Kerry in the All-Ireland Final on 11th April. At time of writing, a throw-in time and venue have still to be decided.

DIVISION 3 HURLING LEAGUE

Edenderry hurlers received a walkover from Belmont last Sunday, as they were unable to field a team.

FIXTURE

This Friday 3rd April, Edenderry Senior Footballers will travel to Geashill to play Raheen at 7.30pm in Division 2 of the football league.

UNDER 8 FOOTBALL

Under 8 football and enrolment for Fr McWey Leagues starts outdoor on Friday 3rd April in the Church field at 7pm, and will continue every Friday (except Good Friday). Phone 086-3915443.

UNDER-10 FOOTBALL

This Friday, 3rd April, the under-10 footballers will commence training in Oaklands School Field at 7pm and will finish at 8pm. Training will continue every Monday and Friday at 7pm, all new players are welcome.

UNDER 6, 8 & 10 HURLING

U6, U8 & U10 hurling training will continue this Thursday in the GAA field. All players are asked to be in the field at 5.15pm, so they will be ready to start at 5.30pm. Training will finish at 6.30pm. All new players welcome.

UNDER-14 HURLING BLITZ

There will be a blitz on Saturday morning for u14 hurlers.

MONSTER BINGO

Edenderry GAA will host a Monster Bingo on Easter Sunday at 8pm in the GAA Pavilion. There will be €5,000 in prize money. The jackpot game will be worth €2,000. Over-80s will be half price.

BORD NA nOG TABLE QUIZ

On Thursday, April 16th, Bord na nOg are hosting a Table Quiz in O"Donoghue"s lounge at 9.30pm. Table of four is €20, raffle for spot prizes on the night. Question Master on the night will be Garrett Reilly. Come along on the night and support your children"s team as all funds raised are used to promote Gaelic games in Edenderry.

DEEPEST SYMPATHY

Edenderry GAA would like to extend their deepest sympathies to the Bishop/Lynch Family of Clonmore on their recent sad bereavement.

LOTTO

The jackpot of €6,200 has survived this week"s draw. The numbers drawn were 4, 7, 18, 21 and the Bonus No 2. There were three match 3 number winners who shared €200, they were: Kitty Aspell, c/o Bingo; Paddy McBride, c/o E. Kenny; John Crosbie, c/o Bingo.
