Kildare 2-17 Meath 2-7

Meath ladies made a losing start to their NFL Div 2 campaign today.

The Royal County girls travelled to Celbridge to take on Kildare and were well beaten.

A number of new faces were introduced by manager Brendan Dardis and Meath trailed by 1-1 to 1-10 at the interval.

Meath will play Sligo in the next round.
