Meath 2-16 London 1-14

Meath hurlers made a good start to their quest for NHL Div 3A honours today.

An opening round assignment against London was a tough one for manager TJ Reilly and his players.

The game was moved from Ruislip due to the condition of the ground following yesterday's NFL Div 4 game between London and Wicklow.

Played at Watford, this high-scoring contest produced plenty of excitement as Meath emerged with a five-point victory.

Meath face Armagh next weekend in Navan. Armagh's game today against Mayo was postponed while in the only other game in Div 3A, Kerry beat Derry by 3-13 to 1-9.
