Royal Gaels 3-10 Clann na nGael 0-6

Royal Gaels gave a scintillating first-half display to lay the foundations for victory over Clann na nGael in the Ladies u-19 FC decider at Carlantstown on Friday night.

Two goals from Laura McMahon and one from Aimee Ennis helped Royal Gaels to a 3-7 to 0-2 interval advantage.

Clann na nGael were much move competitive in the second-half with Laura Gilsenan ending up as her team's top scorer with four points.

This was the first time the title was claimed by Royal Gaels who are managed by Marie Kealy and Colm Bracken.
