Meath 0-15 Armagh 1-12

Daniel Queeney played for Meath in the second round of the Ulster MFL against Armagh on Saturday.
Meath picked up their first point of the 2010 Ulster MFL when they earned a draw against Armagh at Crossmaglen on Saturday in a second round clash.
Last week the Royal County were edged out by Cavan at Breffni Park and while that result was disappointing, manager Davy Dalton told the Meath Chronicle that he was pleased with the performance.
And that performance received a boost on Saturday when Cavan made it two-in-a-row with a 0-12 to 0-11 victory over a Dublin side that the previous week disposed of Down by 3-12 to 0-8.
Meath's next assignment in the league is a trip to Newry next Saturday to tackle Down who lost again at the weekend when Monaghan proved too strong by 2-10 to 1-8.
Based on those results, Meath should be capable of registering their first win next weekend, but under-age football can be unpredictable and with the management team anxious to assess their strengths and weaknesses, a lot will depend on the team that is selected.
Last Saturday's team showed a number of changes from the first round with the addition of Alastair Doyle, Phelim Dowling, David Lynch, Liam Tolan and Conor Devereux to the starting 15.
Danny McGovern's goal helped wind-assisted Meath into a 1-9 to 0-5 interval lead and while Armagh dictated after the resumption, they Royals did enough to earn a draw.
Meath - Conor McHugh (Oldcastle), Alastair Doyle (Dunshaughlin), Conor McGill (Ratoath), Sean Gaffney (Simonstown Gaels); Fergus Toolan (Dunshaughlin), Brian Moore (Duleek / Bellewstown), Phelim Dowling (St Vincent's / Curraha 0-1), Farrell McManus (Ratoath); David Lynch (Na Fianna), Danny McGovern (Gaeil Cholmcille 1-2), Conor Devereux (Dunshaughlin 0-2), Paddy Haslam (Ratoath), Liam Tolan (Skryne 0-2), Daniel Queeney (Na Fianna 0-4, one free, one '45'), James Conlon (Seneschalstown). Subs - Matthew Devine (Donaghmore / Ashbourne) for Gaffney, Brian Davis (Skryne 0-1) for Tolan, Donal Landy (St Patrick's) for Conlon.
Meath also played a second game against Armagh which provided useful information for selectors, Davy Dalton, Dermot Rooney and Larry McEntee.
Armagh won by 4-11 to 1-9.
