Offaly to host Clare in football qualifiers

Print | Email

Offaly will host Clare in the first round of the All-Ireland SFC Qualifiers on Saturday week in O'Connor Park, Tullamore, at 5pm, after the times and venues for most of first round of the All-Ireland SFC Qualifiers were announced earlier this week.

With the counties that would have home venue already known, it was a matter of date and throw in times that had to be teased out today by the Central Competitions Control Committee.

The fixture for the London against Wexford game in Ruislip has yet to be confirmed while Tipperary's game in Thurles against the loser of Saturday's replayed Leinster quarter-final, will be on Saturday if it is against Meath and on Sunday if Laois are the opposition.

Armagh against Donegal will be televised live on RTE and throws in at 3.30pm
