Midland Drama Schools to stage Cinderella

Rebecca Bell plays Cinderella

Students from Midland Drama Schools are polishing performances for their upcoming show Cinderella. The group will stage the popular fairytale in the Bridge House Hotel in Tullamore each night at 8pm from Thursday, April 11, until Sunday, April 14.

Most will already know the story of Cinderella. A beautiful girl, she lives with her two ugly stepsisters who make her life hell. Unsurprisingly, when an invitation to a ball arrives Cinderella is not allowed to go, but that changes when her fairy godmother appears. At the ball Cinderella’s dreams become reality when she dances with the prince, but at the stroke of midnight she has to flee as her clothes turn back into rags. After picking up a shoe she left behind, the prince then begins a search to find his true love.

To book tickets for the upcoming show see, email or call the Bridge House Hotel on 057 9325600.
