Bosco to appear in Birr!

This weekend will see what’s recognised as the premier touring puppet theatre company, both in Ireland and further afield, make a welcome return to Birr.

The Lambert Puppet Theatre will visit Birr Theatre and Arts Centre on Sunday, January 26, with a beautiful production of Cinderella, along with a special nostalgic appearance by Bosco. The magical experience will feature large puppets, colourful sets and exquisite lighting, and promises to be a treat for young and old alike.

Next week Birr Film Club’s season continues with Me and You on Tuesday, January 28. The film features quirky 14-year-old loner Lorenzo, who has difficult relationships with his parents and peers and decides to hide out in his building’s neglected basement.

Looking forward to next Friday, one of Ireland’s most popular concert performers - Dominick Kirwan - brings his show complete with an appearance by Louise Morrissey to Birr Theatre. The January 31 show can be booked by calling Birr Theatre on 057 9122911.

More information on all upcoming events in Birr Theatre and Arts Centre is available at www.birrtheatre.com.
