Foster and Allen to stream concert from Kilbeggan Distillery Visitor Centre

Foster and Allen have been performing for almost five decades but they are still innovating and making the most of modern technology.

The duo have now announced their first ever streamed concert, to be broadcast online on Thursday October 28, from Kilbeggan Distillery Visitor Centre.

Mick and Tony, along with their band, have announced details for ‘Spirit of Ireland’, which is free to watch thanks to support from the Department Of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.

The concert will feature some of Foster and Allen’s big hits and some of the most-loved Irish songs, including The Fields Of Athenry, Grace, When You Were Sweet Sixteen, Maggie, The Wild Rover, 40 Shades Of Green, and A Bunch Of Thyme.

There is also a guest appearance by Brendan Shine.

It is two years since Foster and Allen performed live, and they have also announced a return to in-person gigs.

Their ‘We’ll Meet Again’ tour opens at the Tullamore Court Hotel on December 27, and following that, they have announced a number of other dates between December 2021 and February 2022.

Foster and Allen’s new album is due for release in April 2022 and will feature Vera Lynn’s ‘We’ll Meet Again’.

The Kilbeggan Distillery concert is available via their website, www.fosterandallen.ie, and through Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
