Temperatures to hit 15 degrees today on mostly dry day

Weather Update

Today will be mild and mostly cloudy with just a few brighter intervals. Patchy rain and drizzle will develop in the west this morning and will gradually spreading eastwards through the day. Rainfall amounts will be small with some places staying dry. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees with light southerly breezes.

Tonight again will be mild and mostly cloudy with patchy drizzle and mist. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 13 degrees with light southerly breezes.

Sunday will be mild and mostly cloudy. There will be a fair amount of dry weather, but some patchy rain or drizzle in places, mainly in coastal areas of the southwest, west and northwest. The best of any bright intervals will be in the east. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees with light to moderate southerly breezes.

On Sunday night, rain in the west and northwest will gradually move southeastwards with drier weather following into west Ulster and Connacht by morning. : Lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees with light breezes.

Through Monday morning, rain or drizzle in east Ulster, Leinster and Munster will gradually clear southeastwards. Drier weather wil follow with some bright spells. But there will still be a good deal of cloud. Highest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees with mostly light variable breezes. Monday night will be mainly dry with a fair amount of cloud and with drizzle, mist or fog in places. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle developing in the west in the morning and spreading eastwards. Rainfall amounts will be small and drier weather will follow from the west later. Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees with moderate southwest winds, becoming westerly as rain clears. Tuesday night will be mainly dry with clear spells. However, there will be a few showers of rain or hail in northern areas. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees with westerly light to moderate westerly breezes, fresh along west and north coasts.

Wednesday will start off with some sunny spells and a few showers in northern areas. Increasing cloud will bring some patchy rain or drizzle from the west later. : Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees moderate west to southwest winds.

Thursday and Friday will both be mild with a fair amount of dry weather and some light rain or drizzle at times. Highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees with moderate south to southwest breezes.
