Green Flag raised for sixth time at Lloyd Town Park

Tullamore Municipal District of Offaly County Council officially raised the Green Flag at Lloyd Town Park this week.

The park was among over 103 Green Flag locations announced by An Taisce on Wednesday. It represented the sixth successive year the facility in Tullamore has achieved the award.

The feedback report for Lloyd Town Park from the judging process was very positive describing the park as a welcoming place, which was very well presented with a very good standard of maintenance with respect to litter and cleanliness. In addition, the report outlined the park has a good range of park users and dedicated staff who show a real commitment to maintaining and improving this facility.

Tullamore Municipal District has expressed its thanks to all involved in maintaining the park to such a high standard, in particular to the outdoor staff of Tullamroe Municipal District and John Halloran, park caretaker.
