Local farmers back Hooves 4 Hospice campaign

Sales of cattle reared for the Hooves 4 Hospice initiative continue almost weekly in the local livestock marts and factories. Lusmagh farmers Gerry Glynn and Brendan McGarry sold their donated cattle in Central Auctions (Birr Mart) recently.

Gerry Glynn sold a heifer for €1,610, and Brendan McGarry’s bullock sold for €1,690. Sincere thanks are due to all who continue to donate, and to rear these cattle, the proceeds of which are going towards the building of the new Midlands Hospice in Tullamore .
