Making the Midlands the centre of the Universe!

Miss Universe Ireland Grainne Gallanagh made the Midlands the centre of her universe this weekend as the nurse from Buncrana returned to the heart of Ireland for a glamour-filled photo shoot at Charleville Castle in Tullamore.

Grainne will be heading to Bangkok in Thailand next month to represent Ireland at the final of the Miss Universe pageant, and preparations for that adventure are well underway.

In fact, Grainne flew out to New York on Sunday morning, where a series of high-profile fashion engagements and meeting fill her schedule. But before that, Grainne, together with Brittany Mason, the director of the Miss Universe Ireland organisation, was back in Tullamore on Saturday morning last to chat with Liam Dumpleton on his Saturday View show on Midlands 103, before heading to the historic and beautiful Charleville Castle.

With stunning gowns flown in especially for the shoot from New York, the content, so magically captured by Vanessa Bartlett, will be featured on the social media platforms of Miss Universe Ireland between now and the Miss Universe Final in Bangkok on December 17th.

With Grainne already feeling the love from Tullamore based boutique KODE, where she visited earlier this month, she was in good hands again on Saturday with Cara Dowling Sinclair and Maeve Jaffray, both from Tullamore, taking care of Grainne’s hair and make-up needs for the day-long glamourous fashion shoot.

Mullingar-based Sarah Jane Foster, of SJF Productions, was also part of the team involved for the occasion.
