Sarah shares an IFTA award

Midlands Drama Schools student Sarah White has had great success of late, as she and the cast of Moone Boy won the coveted Best Entertainment Award at the Irish Film and Television Awards recently.

Moone Boy was nominated for five awards. The six-part comedy series by Chris O’Dowd and Nick Murphy is set in Roscommon. Chris O’Dowd plays the lead role as the imaginary friend of Martin Moone. Sarah White plays Martin’s sister Sinead. Series two of the popular series is set to hit screens shortly.

“To date she has featured on children’s programmes on RTE 2. She is a very confident young lady, has a fabulous personality and is very focused on her career. She hopes to become as successful as Saoirse Ronan. We are very excited for Sarah as this series will open many doors for her,” said Lorraine Wynne of Midland Drama Schools.
