Photographic journey through Birr launched

Birr native Jackie Lynch launched her first book 'My Hometown', a photographic journey through the streets of Birr, at John's Hall in Birr on Sunday evening last. The book was officially launched by local singer songwriter Mundy, and a huge crowd turned out for the occasion.
Only 500 copies of the hardback book have been printed, making the €25 book almost a collector's item. 'My Hometown' is on sale in Birr Castle shop, The Organic Store, Kelly's on O'Connell St, Square News, Whelahan's and Birr Theatre and Arts Centre.
