Van and goods stolen from Tullamore Dew distillery site

A van and what gardaí are describing as a "large quantity" of tools and building materials have been stolen from the site of the new Tullamore Dew distillery at Clonminch, Tullamore.

Speaking to the Offaly Independent Sergeant Ollie Baker of Tullamore Garda Station said the van and other goods were taken from the site sometime between 7pm yesterday (Monday) and 7am this morning.

The stolen van is a white Iveco with registration 02D23843.

Anyone who witnessed suspicious behaviour in the area or who may have information is asked to contact Tullamore Garda Station on 057 9327600.
