3rd man arrested in Edenderry murder probe

Gardai investigating the murder of 64-year-old Thomas "Toddy" Dooley at a house in Edenderry on February 16 last have arrested a third man.

A 24-year-old man was arrested in Celbridge, Co Kildare shortly before 5pm yesterday evening (Wednesday).

He is currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Portlaoise Garda Station.

There are currently three in custody in relation to the murder investigation.
