Republic of Telly seeks extras for Edenderry filming

RTE's Republic of Telly is filming in Edenderry on Tuesday, March 4.

The programme is seeking as many children and locals as possible, of any age, for a sketch to be filmed at 3pm in Edenderry Towen Hall, lasting approximately one hour.

Parents will need to accompany children and fill out a consent form for all children under the age of 18.

Programme makers are also looking for an older man who will play a road sweeper.

There are very specific requirements for that role, with the person to be 6'1" with a waist of 34 inches, a shoe size of nine and a half and a leg length of 36 inches.

A person in their 20s or 30s are also being sought to play the part of an orange vendor. Filming will commence at 1.30pm in Larkin's pub.

Participants are asked to wrap up warmly.
