Investigation underway after discovery of unconscious man with head injuries in Tullamore

Gardai in Tullamore are continuing investigations today, following the discovery of an unconscious man in the town in the early hours of yesterday morning (Monday).

Speaking to the Offaly Independent, a spokesperson for An Garda Siochana said the force was alerted to the unconscious man in a car park on Main Street in the town shortly after 6am yesterday morning.

The man was taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore with head injuries, and has since been conveyed to Beaumount Hospital in Dublin.
