Man hospitalised after industrial fridge accident in Birr
A 52-year-old man is being treated in Tullamore hospital after an industrial fridge fell on him in Birr this afternoon (Thursday).
The accident happened at a premises on the Wilmer Road in Birr earlier today.
According to gardaí the fridge was being moved at the time, and the man sustained injuries to his chest as a result of being pinned under the industrial-sized unit.
