New Tullamore rector revealed

Revd Isaac Delamere

Tullamore Union of Parishes has a new rector. Wicklow native Revd Isaac Delamere will in late September take over the role that became vacant when Canon Gerald Field left to become Dean of Cashel Cathedral five months ago.

Ordained in 2002, Revd Delamere has served as rector in the Kildare parish of Narraghmore, Timolin, Castledermot and Kinneagh for the past nine years.

Speaking to the Offaly Independent this week, he said he was “captured by the vision” of Tullamore parish.

Married to Michelle, Revd Delamere is father to sons Adam (9), Ben (7) and Dawson (4) and daughter Ruby (1). While he won’t begin ministry in Tullamore until late September, his family plan to move to the area in time for the new school term at Charleville NS.
