Possibility of snow as temperatures look set to drop

Met Éireann is predicting sleet, snow and icy patches tonight as temperatures look set to dip below zero.

Conditions are set remain windy and showery with temperatures of between five and eight degrees Celsius today.

It will turn colder tonight with some scattered wintry showers of sleet or snow in places. Lowest temperatures of zero to minus two degrees Celsius are predicted with frost and some icy patches.

It will remain cold on Monday and spells of wintry showers are likely in the morning. Afternoon temperatures are expected to range between four and six degrees Celsius.
