Garda appeal over suspected attempted abduction in laois

Garda are appealing for witnesses following a suspected attempted abduction at Cullahill in Co Laois yesterday.

Gardai in Portlaoise are asking members of the public to assist them in tracing the whereabouts of a silver Nissan X-Trail 4 x 4 vehicle, registration number believed to be 04 KK.

This vehicle is believed to have been involved in an alleged serious incident in Cullahill at approximately 11am yesterday.

The male driver is described as approximately 6’2” thin build, grey hair. The vehicle was seen acting suspiciously in the area prior to the incident. This 4x4 was reported stolen in the Co Kilkenny area on March 3.
