Offaly could have a new millionaire this morning after the National Lottery revealed that last night's winning ticket was bought in the midlands.

While exact details are yet to emerge, one lucky midlander is almost €3m richer this morning.

The numbers in last night's draw were: 4, 9, 27, 31, 38 and 39 and the bonus ball was 10.

There was also one winner of the Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize of €287,135.
